   First 20 prototypes

   The first 20 prototypes, where the V6 body and the electronics come together, are being prepared. Form, sensor contact and night use will be tested with physical samples for the first time.

   2nd prototype and user study

   A 2nd prototype is being prepared with findings from the first prototypes, and a 100-person user study begins. Comfort, hold, skin compatibility and measurement quality will be evaluated on real nights.

   The campaign begins

   Zzip opens to its first backers with a Kickstarter campaign. Campaign details will be shared as it gets closer; those on the “Be the first to know” list hear first.

   First production batch

   The first batch of roughly 4,000 units goes into production. With this step, Zzip will have moved from prototype to real production.
