Zzip started with a simple question: can an everyday object become a more considered, simpler experience?

It started with a need.
It grew with curiosity.
Zzip was born from the need to understand the night better, and from the curiosity of asking “can we do this in a simpler, more natural form?” We aim to understand the night with sensors and make wearable technology a natural part of everyday life. That’s why, at Zzip, we approach form, material and motion together. We are currently developing prototypes and getting ready to test our assumptions.

I run Zzip as a solo founder. My goal is to build the first hardware startup to reach $1 million in sales within a year with a single founder.
Along the way I may occasionally bring in outside services; getting help in areas like manufacturing, engineering or design is a natural part of the path. But the person who steers the product, makes the decisions and carries the responsibility will remain one: the founder.
