These terms apply to the zzip iOS app (“zzip”, “the app”), developed by Furkan Aksoy. By downloading or using the app you accept these terms and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If these terms and Apple’s EULA conflict, these terms prevail where the law allows.
1. The service
zzip helps you follow and improve your sleep: sleep schedule and alarms, night mode, sleep estimates from your phone and Apple Health, tips, routines, water and movement tracking, and Zzip AI chat. Some features need permissions (Apple Health, microphone, motion, notifications); you can use the app without granting them, with fewer features.
2. Not medical advice
zzip is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Sleep stages, snore counts, scores, energy estimates, tips and Zzip AI answers are estimates for information only. Do not rely on them for medical decisions, and talk to a doctor about any concerns about your health. Do not rely on zzip as your only alarm when waking up on time is critical.
3. Your account
An anonymous account is created when you first open the app; you can link it with Apple or Google to keep your data when you change phones. You are responsible for the activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile Account. How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.
4. zzip Pro subscriptions
- zzip Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription, weekly or yearly. The yearly plan may include a free trial (for example 7 days); one-time offers may also be shown. Prices and periods are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings your name Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for
- If you buy a subscription during a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends when the purchase is made
- Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com
- You can restore an existing subscription on a new phone with “Restore” on the zzip Pro screen
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app: do not try to bypass its security or subscriptions, copy or resell it, reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows, or use Zzip AI to produce unlawful or harmful content. We may suspend access in case of abuse.
6. Zzip AI
Zzip AI answers are generated automatically and may be wrong or incomplete. Check important information and never use them instead of professional medical advice. Daily question limits may apply.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its design, texts, the Zziper character and the zzip name belong to Furkan Aksoy. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as described in Apple’s EULA.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep zzip running well, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features. If we change these terms in an important way, we will let you know in the app; continuing to use the app means you accept the new terms.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, zzip is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in.
