Zzip is an electronic night-tracking device being developed in a mouth-band form. It is planned to include a custom PCB, sensors, a rechargeable battery and a Bluetooth connection inside its body. The V6 CAD model defines the R80 curved outer body; full integration of the electronics into the body is still in development.

Not yet. We are working on the depth of the optical section, the contact geometry and the sensor position. Pulse and SpO₂ measurement quality will be validated with physical tests.

Yes. Zzip is being designed with a rechargeable battery and a Bluetooth connection. The iOS app under development will show sensor data, night recordings and device status. The charging dock and battery life will become clear with the final design and power tests.

The current prototype is designed for 3D printing in flexible TPU. The material to be used in the final product and its suitability for skin contact have not been validated yet.

The current model is not a validated consumer product. Sleep, skin contact and mechanical durability tests are not complete; we make no claims of clinical benefit or safe use.

The V6 main silhouette is nominally 110 × 50 mm. The contact surface has an R80 mm radius and a 86.87° curve. The main shell dimension in the radial direction is 3.2 mm; this is not the total height of the curved device. The hinge, opening tab and snaps extend beyond the silhouette. Final dimensions including electronics have not been determined yet.

Zzip’s distinctive approach is a vibration response linked to snoring analysis, breath counting from the direct thermal signal of the breathing cycle with a thermistor near the nose, and additional EEG analysis in the Pro model. These are development goals; we do not claim that they are absent from all competitors or that they deliver higher accuracy.

An optical sensor for pulse and SpO₂, a thermistor near the nose for breathing rhythm, a microphone for snoring, an accelerometer for movement and turning, and a separate sensor for skin temperature are planned. Measurement accuracy and algorithms are in development.

The goals are flexible connections, small electronic islands, a balanced battery layout and rounded outlines. Skin compatibility, weight, hold and all-night comfort will be validated with user tests.

The iOS app under development includes the Bluetooth connection, live measurements, night history, charts and battery status. The interactive app view on the site is a design preview made with representative data.

The goal is to support a change of position with a gentle vibration after active snoring is detected. The aim is to help reduce snoring by encouraging movement without waking you. The effect of not waking you and reducing snoring has not been validated yet.

Available sensor data will be evaluated in the time window before your chosen alarm time. If no suitable moment is found or the data is insufficient, the plan is to fall back to the target alarm time. The slider on the site only shows the flow; it does not set an alarm.

In addition to the multiple sensors, the Pro model aims for one EEG electrode extension from each side of the body and analysis of brain signals. Electrode placement, reference layout and measurement performance have not been finalized yet. Two extensions do not mean two independent EEG channels.

Choosing a high-quality, skin-friendly adhesive is one of the product’s core goals. Correct placement, sensor contact, balanced hold and gentle removal will be evaluated together. The final adhesive has not been chosen yet; skin compatibility and irritation tests are not complete.

Yes, it is planned among future modules. Drawing on the scientific approach of basal body temperature tracking, we aim to evaluate morning temperature patterns and cycle records. The suitability of Zzip’s skin temperature measurement for this purpose has not been validated yet. A single measurement does not determine the ideal fertile day; the feature cannot currently be used for pregnancy planning or birth control decisions.

A cycle journal, examining sleep and temperature patterns together with the cycle, optional symptom and mood notes, data quality warnings and shareable summaries are being considered. Scope and release date have not been finalized.
